CONCORDIA, Ark. (December 13, 2016) – Concordia Retirement Center has partnered with Village House, adult daycare, in setting up an extensive Christmas light display covering a portion of Concordia’s beautiful 26-acre campus through New Year’s Day.

This is the eighth year that Concordia Retirement has set up a Christmas light display and the first year that Village House has partnered with them. The light show utilizes a computerized system to synchronize the lights to popular Christmas music.

The public is invited to enjoy the gorgeous display daily at 1 Concordia Drive. Donations will be collected at the entrance, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting Village House.

“This time of year is always our residents’ favorite! They love viewing our big display of Christmas lights. We always have a lot of people from our community and beyond that come out to view our lights. We are looking forward to seeing everyone that stops by!” Steve Dean, interim executive director at Concordia Retirement Center, said.

Village House is Northwest Arkansas’ only adult day care center. It is a non-profit program dedicated to enriching the lives of participants and providing affordable respite for caregivers. It specializes as a dementia care center with a certified dementia practitioner, certified nurse assistants and life enrichment professionals.

“We are excited that this year we are able to use our beautiful Christmas light display to benefit such a great cause. We have always admired Village House and want to help support them in any way we can,” Paula Sanders, marketing director at Concordia Retirement, said.
